"Brush polishing" is a method that involves rotating bundles of fine brass or stainless steel wires, or resin wires embedded with silicon carbide or alumina, at high speeds. The end faces of these bundles are rubbed against the surface or edges of the workpiece to improve surface roughness and remove burrs. The target workpieces are mainly flat or cylindrical shapes, as complex shapes are not suitable. In brush polishing, maintaining a consistent polishing force is crucial.
